About the artist
Hi, I’m Enrique Martinez, owner, founder and CEO of Studio Martinez. I’m an artist originally from El Paso, TX, working in San Antonio. My style is influenced by a wide range of sources from high art to pop-culture. I’m as influenced by masters of the Italian Renaissance as I am by underground comix and indigenous art. I’m also greatly inspired by mythologies from around the world, from Greek, Roman, Hindu and Aztec to name just a few. And much of my work derives from these sources and is made manifest by my surreal interpretations.
I’m also a former educator of 14 years and have experience teaching all grade levels as well as adult classes. Although my current work is focused on my studio practice, I always welcome the opportunity to share my knowledge about art with others.
I’ve exhibited locally as well as internationally and continue to create art, illustrations, graphics, logos and murals for local businesses in my studio.
If you’d like to have some artwork done contact me HERE and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Thanks for looking!
